What does hacktivate means? How can I hacktivate my iDevice?

Hacktivation is the Activation of the iDevice by patching (hacking) it with a third party software rather than via iTunes.

Activation is done upon system reinstall (or first-time startup) and it’s usually done via iTunes. Still, if you try to activate your iDevice on a non-aprooved carrier, you need to unlock your iDevice.

This can usually be accomplished by jailbreaking your iDevice.
