How can I find the iOS (iPhone OS) version on my iPod, iPhone or iPad?

In order to find the operating system version of your iDevice you should:

1. Tap “Settings” on your iDevice’s main screen

2. Tap “General” from the list

3. Tap “About” from the list

4. Scroll down until you find “Version” on the list

5. Result: in this demo the iOS (or iPhone OS) version is 4.0. Please note that your version might be different so I advise you to note your iDevice’s version.

NOTE: on the iPad the menu is the same, but it looks bigger. Please select the same items from the menu, even if the screenshots don’t look the same.
